OREGON TRACK & FIELD

Dubbed TrackTown USA, the University of Oregon has an rich history of strong track and field athletes. Led by head coach, Robert Johnson, the program continues to lay claim as one of the most elite programs in the country.  In 2016, after cross country’s National Championship, the Ducks had dreams of continuing their success, but almost no one could have predicted what would come next. Longtime stars Raevyn Rodgers and Deajah Stevens led the Ducks to the Indoor and Outdoor NCAA Championships, winning both to complete a historic Triple Crown of championships. Rodgers was honored with The Bowerman, Collegiate Track and Field’s most prestigious award, the third Oregon woman in four years to win the award. The Ducks entered 2018 with a number of new faces, finished fifth at the NCAA Indoor Championships and have turned it up as they look toward the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Ducks entered the 2017 season with massive expectations, having won the 2016 National Championships by a tenth of a second, and they carried it well, easily winning their first two invitationals. Oregon finished fifth nationally at the NCAA Championships and was named an all-academic team by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after securing a 3.53 team GPA.
