What to Watch

Pour yourself a cup of Christmas cheer — at my house, that’s egg nog and bourbon on the rocks, with a tiny spoon’s worth of nutmeg sprinkled on top — fire up the fireplace, and let the soothing, dulcet tones of Burl Ives transport you and your loved ones back to a simpler time. Rudolph is, for my money, the single best Christmas special of all-time, a towering triumph from the storied Rankin/Bass empire. It’s got it all: incredible tunes (“Silver And Gold” is an underrated bop!), heartwarming vibes, some delicious subtext, and even a few scares (those Abominable Snowman teeth!). Merry merry to you and yours!

Which streaming service has Rudolph the Red

Amazon.com: Watch Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer | Prime Video.

Can I watch Rudolph the Red

Is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer streaming on Netflix? Unfortunately, though Netflix is home to plenty of other wonderfully animated Christmas films like Angela's Christmas and Home for the Holidays, the 1964 film is currently not one of them.

Is Rudolph on HBO Max?

Santa's reindeer are flying in with the best stories just for you. Subscribe to HBO Max this holiday season and be part of adventures with Rudolph, Comet, Cupid, and all the rest!

Why is Rudolph the Red

The culprit was licensing rights: CBS is allowed to make the move available to viewers who receive the network through traditional means —with an antenna or by watching a local station on a cable or satellite service — but their rights didn't extend to streaming TV platforms, including their own.
