  Musical Treasure For Years to Come! A Collectors Dream

  I purchased this Box Set several years ago. Growing up watching THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY every Sunday Night, I just knew that I had to give my children the chance to experience the magical moments I felt as a child. I started my collection out with this Cd Box set. Upon playing the first CD , I immediately felt the Magic that Walt Disney has become famous for. I could almost see all of the wonderful movies, that went with each song. What an exhilarating trip down memory lane. I continued to listen to all 3 CD's and felt the most relaxing moments, I had experienced in a long time. My children also sat for the entire time without fighting with each other I might add! I would have to highly recommend this great musical collection to anyone, young or old. It will allow you too, to travel to the Magical World of Disney. Along with the box set you also recieve an awesome full color book with fabulous pictures of many of the loved and famous Disney Classics. Thd Cd's come in a hard Box which stores the cds individually in a velvet like lined case, protecting them from any future harm. The box does hold up fairly well, with the normal shelf or corner wear. Cds appear to be high quality, as mine have been listened to over and over again! After all of the use, mine only show minor surface scratching and no skipping, they play as well as they did when I purchased them! I can only commend Disney for this timeless treasure, it is truly a work of art, and a family treasure for years to come! I look forward to sharing it with the grandchildren, or listening to it when Im old and spending my days rocking and reminiscing......you can bet I'll be singing ZIP-A-DEE-DOO-DAH Well into my Golden Years!(and YES, I'll still have this wonderful collection incase I happen to forget the words!)Read full review

• Great find! Songs we grew up with!

  This is awesome! We have been looking for this compilation of CDs (we had when we were growing up) but could only find the newer CD collection and the songs just aren't as good. The presentation of this is very nice. It is the size of a vinyl record and has an information booklet included. We couldn't be happier!

• The most enjoyment from ANY CD EVER!!!!!!

  12 Five star and 2 Four star ratings says it all about this set. WOW! It brought back such vivid memories from my 1960s childhood. Some songs predate me by a few years. Yet, My 10 year old son LOVED listening to this while on a road trip. Instead of "Are We There Yet?", I was hearing, " Can you play Winnie The Pooh again?", and Uncontrollable giggling on some songs. My wife was even happy that I bought this and had it in the car. Walt Disney wasn't a real Wizard, But He was a Wizard at stirring the imagination and really entertaining poeple. What really stuck out with me was how much professionalism went into every facet of anything he produced. Even the oldest cartoon songs on disc one were the best cartoons of the day. I guess they were the only cartoons of the day. You can forgive the crackling sounds when you realize that the origional 'Masters' were recorded on Victrola records. My favorites have to be from Mary Poppins. These songs, and others, include snippets of dialouge from the movie. It really takes you back.Read full review

• Not what I expected, but a good collection

  I was expecting the songs to be independent songs, but they were taken directly from the "movies". So the first few songs were crackly since they were from the old old movies. And as the songs progressed through the years they were better recordings, but still taken from the show's recordings. I got this for my grandsons, but the recordings do not keep them entertained as I would have hoped. I now have a collection of Disney classics, a great collection, just not what I expected.
