Springfield Arts Council presents the annual admission-free Summer Arts Festival in Veterans Park, downtown Springfield.

The Summer Arts Festival returns June 9 – July 23, 2022

Always, fun! Always FREE!  The Springfield Arts Council’s Summer Arts Festival returns to downtown Springfield on Thursday, June 9 through Saturday, July 23, 2022, with over thirty evenings of admission-free entertainment under the stars! Be sure mark your calendar now and get your lawn chairs ready for the 56th season of Springfield’s favorite summer tradition, The Summer Arts Festival!

Bring the entire family as the Springfield Arts Council’s 2022 Summer Arts Festival presents a fun-filled evening with Mutts Gone Nuts and special guest, comedian Jonathan Burns.

Imagine nine of the world’s most talented 4-legged performers in an uproariously funny, comedy dog spectacular that is leaving audiences everywhere howling for more! The Mutts Gone Nuts all-star lineup includes the highest jumping dog in the universe, two Guinness World Record Champions, a hilarious six pound Pomeranian Pikachu mix, and a host of previously discarded dogs that will dance, prance, flip, and skip their way right in to your heart. Deemed “A must see!” by the Washington Post, Mutts Gone Nuts is sure to win Best in Show!

Admission-free event; donations encouraged at intermission.

Springfield summer arts festival 2022 lineup

A great way to spend two summer evenings – the Summer Arts Festival’s annual Sip of Summer Wine and Beer Tasting!  

Beginning at 6:00 PM, enjoy sampling a selection of wines and beers on our west terrace, then stay for the great music at 8:00 PM with The Motown Sounds of TOUCH (Friday, July 8) and hometown favorite Griffin House (Saturday, July 9.)
