Scam insurance company

I have been using their insurance for over a year , one day thry added a driver to my policy i did not autherize and sucked $400 out of my account. Do not use them . Its been 15 days no credit back yet.

These guys are absolute crooks

These guys are absolute crooks, when asked, why did my policy that I've had for years, go up $49.00 a month. The response was oh sir, due to external factors, like prices of goods going up. How about drop the stupid commercials and the BS you guys send to my house three times a month, will be moving on

Incompetent computer systems

Incompetent computer systems. Can't change anything online. Extremely old data base and method of insurance. They should spend less on the silly commercials and update their software. Their customer service reps are actually very helpful though. Its ashame they have to defend a company that refuses to make insurance easy for users.

Had Progressive over 12 years, DONT USE THEM!

We had Progressive for 12 years! Only 2 total claims, one not being our fault, in that whole 12 years.
Our recent claim last year was not our fault and Progressive promised to pay us our $1000 deductible back. The other party who was at fault just stopped responding to insurance so they couldnt collect any money from them. We still havent seen that money! We were Diamond customers and last month we saw our policy go up by $50 a month! For what reason? i called and asked and they didnt give me an answer and said they could only give us a discount of $5 off per month... What a freaking joke! We called and cancelled and switched to Geico and I Sh** you not, we are saving $100/month. Way to F*** over your loyal customers Progressive.

Worst experience even to buy auto

Worst experience even to buy auto .
I added pip exclusion and it went for approval . After it got approved again and again the system is asking for approval . The 2 teams don’t even talk to each other and worst customer experience. For past 1 week I can’t even buy a policy

I wish I never had my insurance change…

I wish I never had my insurance change to progressive not even close to fair I wish I could give them no stars I give them the proof for $13000+ and they offer me $1700 that is an insult you pay full insurance in case you need it to be able to replace your car not to take a huge loss when something happens

I changed to Progressive auto and regret it

I changed to Progressive auto and homeowners insurance for their low rates. After 1 month, they sent me a notice that I owed $155 additional for homeowners because my roof shingles were architectural instead of composite. My auto insurance premiums went up 25% after 6 months, with no claims/tickets. My homeowners premium went up 60% after the first year with no changes in coverage/claims. This company cares about sales only. Terrible customer service. Not transparent at all. Do not sign up!

Progressive Insurance, a joke waiting for you. In a accident with a person who had this insurance. 6 years layer after they paid me pennies. I suffer everyday with nerve damage. I am unfortunately damaged for life yet Progressive insurance could careless..Find a teal insurance that CAREs about people

Shame on You, Progressive!

I own an Auto Body shop and work with a lot of insurance companies. Progressive is THE worst I've ever dealt with. They have to send someone to do their own estimate (all the other insurance companies use our estimate) and spend hours trying to find the absolute cheapest parts and screwing the customer. But that's not the worst part. Progressive has accused numerous customers of lying about how their vehicle got damaged, thus refusing to pay to fix it. This makes me irate because they're not lying! We're a small community and personally know our customers, they're being honest. The best advice I can give is to stay far away from Progressive. If that's not possible and you have to file a claim, always, always, always take pics of the damage before you do anything else. Extensive proof and documentation is a must with these crooks. They don't give a crap about you, only profits. I do care about my customers but there's only so much I can do. Progressive, you should be ashamed of yourselves. How do you sleep at night? What do you tell yourselves to justify the awful things you do?

I cancelled my auto policy with…progressive

I cancelled my auto policy with progressive 7 days before expiration. Got a new policy with Nationwide. 2 weeks after cancellation, progressive says that I owe $20 because of policy lapse. Lies and an attempt to rip me off. They say if I do not pay they will send it to collection. This company is garbage. I will never use again.

We have been with progressive for 18+…

We have been with progressive for 18+ but Have to give a one star with this experience.
We hit a big rock on the highway. Randell Fergen repair rep . argued with me; claimed I was off roading in my car, which I have never done . Randell told me “this was not an isolated incident”. Because my other wheels had scratches according to him. The auto shop they picked and Randell told me it the wheel just needs a balance . Randell quoted me the price I would have to pay for the balance. I took the car to Discount Tire since the balance is covered. Discount told me “the wheel is bend badly”
We called back to the rep Kiera Washington to update her and ask for a new repair rep. She said she could not and when I asked to speak to her supervisor she said “ I’m not dealing with you” and hung up on me 😳

Crazy Rate Increases After Initial 6 Months!

They pull the scam a lot of insurance companies do by raising your rate over 15% after 6 months! No accidents or moving violations to justify such an increase. When you call they claim inflation, but they have been doing this for years and the current inflation is far less than 15%!! That's okay I'll just keep switching insurance ever 6 months since companies like this only care about making more $ and not keeping their customers happy.

The most horrible crooked insurance company...terrible people...they lie ..stay away...get anyone else...not them

Another vehicle totaled one of my work trucks 4 months ago.. progressive is absolutely the worst company. They represent both sides... Constantly lie.. profit is all that matters to them. The money they pull in... They will never pay anything out. They lie lie, lie, lie, lie.... I would tell anybody don't ever use progressive insurance ever... Cuz basically you will have a piece of paper saying you have insurance... But in reality it means nothing cuz they will do nothing for you if there is an accident and I mean nothing. I finally hired a lawyer because they basically will ignore you unless you have legal representation which doesn't seem fair but it's the reality of dealing with progressive insurance.. absolutely! The worst insurance company there is.

Service is below expectations

The only time Progressive agents become knowledgeable and helpful is when they want money. When you try and make a claim you have to speak to multiple people at multiple times and provide so much information they make you feel like you’re lying. Worst customer experience ever.

Bad Customer Service!

Had an accident on September 6, 2022 and I have full coverage. It’s now 11 days later and my so called adjuster (Steve Dayton) still has not returned calls. Called company at least five times. They don’t even return calls of my Progressive agent!

I do not recommend this company to anyone and I will not renew my policy when it is supposed to renew in November.

Bad service considering I’ve been a full coverage policy holder for 15 years!!!

Progressive is one of the worst insurance companies there is. My insurance went up each year the 5 years I was with this crappy company. I hated the policy agent, Ms. SE, a old white female who works with Nationwide in Fayetteville NC. She has been the worst agent I had along with claim adjuster for Progressive, Mr. JQ. I wish I never had had insurance with Progressive. The claim adjuster Mr. JQ lied to me and didn't worked on my behalf. It doesn't matter if some one is parked in the middle of the road illegally! Progressive will side with the illegally parked black male b.
I would rather pay more with another company than give Progressive a penny of my money again in my life.

This company does not care about you!

It's all about a quick buck. The other driver was at fault and my insurance company progressive agreed. The other insurance company said, "it wasn't the other drivers fault." Progressive just let it go. Going to court would be to expensive. Both insurance companies win I get to take the loss. This lady even left the seen of the accident. Court is more expensive than fixing my car. It's sad when insurance companies work together for their own benefit.

I would give no stars if I could

I would give no stars if I could. The way they handled my claim is repulsive I couldn't be more upset. You think the insurance company would stand behind their insurers but nope get ready to put up a fight with these people they are the absolute worst. My car received additional damage while my car was stored at a shop, now I'm playing run around to get repairs done nobody wants to accept liability I'm so livid with progressive at this point and will be dropping them soon as I can! Worst ever!

They will fight you tooth and nail to…

They will fight you tooth and nail to get out of paying a claim. Denied a claim for accidental water damage from a leaking shower. The adjuster came in with a moisture detector that's used on drywall to measure moisture when my walls aluminum. Everything off the scale and said external leaking and not covered. Read you policy very carefully and ask questions about water leakage. I was informed that I have to prove that it's the shower that leaked and not external leakage. Good grief! I'm done with Progressive

customer service totally broken

Followed the directions where to mail a document. USPS returned it PO box is vacant. So I sent it to the email address where the request came from: customerservice at e.progressive.com. Returned this mailbox doesn't accept replies (customerservice!!) Called on the phone. She gave me email address to send it to. Then she couldn't confirm that it was received. etc. etc.
