Can I pay only after the repair is done?

Yes! We ask for payment only after the repair has been completed and tested.

Is the quoted price inclusive of installation?

Yes, our quoted prices are inclusive of installation. Separately, the price is the same even if you wish to purchase the parts and install them by yourself.

Do note that if you purchase parts for self-installation, it will NOT be covered under our warranty policy. This is because parts are likely to get damaged by inexperienced installers.

Are there any hidden fees involved?

No. All prices quoted are nett and include all installation and service fees.

If there are any extra costs for repairs, we will definitely inform you first and get your approval before we commence.

Why are your repair prices so cheap compared to the official service centers and even your competitors?

Firstly, our costs are cheaper as we purchase our parts directly from manufacturers, which bypasses the local wholesalers in Singapore.

Secondly, we employ thoroughly experienced technicians which means less wastage and higher productivity.

These advantages allow us to maintain our competitive prices and hence bring extra savings for our customers.

Do I still need to pay if I decide not to fix the phone after you have checked?

No. There is no need to pay if you decide to cancel the repair. However, cancellation is not allowed once our technician has commenced the repair.

This works the same way as not being allowed to cancel a restaurant order once the chef has started cooking.

Can I claim my manufacturer warranty after repairing my device with you?

No. Any repairs carried outside of the respective manufacturers’ service centers are considered third-party repairs and will void the manufacturer warranty of the device.

Are your parts original?

Our parts are A Grade as good as the original. We don’t advertise our parts as original due to copyright issues.

Can you source for original parts for me?

As of September 2021, we are officially an Apple Repair Provider (Independent). This means that we have exclusive access to original Apple genuine parts. While we do carry some ready stocks such as the original batteries, certain parts can be pre-ordered for you.

For other brands besides Apple, as we do not have such exclusivity, we are unable to advertise those parts as original.

How long do the repairs usually take?

Repairs typically take about 45 mins to 2 hours to complete, depending on the complexity of the repair procedure.

This excludes the checking process before and after the repair which takes up to an additional 15 minutes.

Will you erase my data during the repair like what the authorized service centers do?

No, we do not erase your data during the repair. 99% of the time, there will be no data loss.

However, we don’t guarantee your data will remain intact 100% of the time, due to unforeseen situations. We also require your passcode for testing purposes.

Will my device lose its water resistance after the repair?

The device will lose some of its water-resistance after the repair. This is because the IP68 seal will be broken during the repair.

IP68 water resistance is conducted in factory conditions with specialized machinery to seal up your phone. Even at the authorized service centers, after repair, the device will no longer be IP68 certified unless it is shipped back to the factory to get it re-sealed.

Hence, we do not recommend exposing your phone to rain, swimming, washing it under running water. There is also no warranty from Mister Mobile for devices that are water-damaged.

If you arrive after the last timeslot, we may need to wait until the next day’s collection.

Can I walk in for repair?

Yes, you can walk in to repair your device. We will not refuse walk-in requests.

However, the actual repair duration may vary from the advertised duration, depending on our technician’s workload and incoming appointments at your time of arrival.

Typically, we are busier on weekends, and also in the mornings (11 am to 1 pm), and in the evenings (6 pm to 8 pm).

Must I book an appointment before heading down?

Getting an appointment is not compulsory. However, we encourage you to contact our hotline before coming, to minimize misunderstandings and/or wasted trips. Some of the common reasons are:

  • Spare parts may be out of stock at your preferred outlet.
  • Some complicated repairs can only be carried out at certain outlets (due to availability of equipment, expertise, space constraints).
  • Our Technicians can prepare prior to your arrival.
  • Your preferred outlet may be fully booked. We can divert you to another branch, or schedule for another day to allow our technicians to have sufficient time to fix your phone.

I'm about to make my way over. Can I book an immediate appointment?

If you need an urgent repair,  simply WhatsApp or call us when you are on the way. At least we can do some quick checks on our end!

But if you are 10 minutes away from our store, we suggest you simply walk in instead, as you would have reached our store by the time the call ends anyway.

How does booking an appointment help?

Our appointment booking system can create appointments with important details, requests, and notes.

Our branch team can then retrieve the appointment details when you arrive in our store. This system helps to improve our internal communication, which creates a seamless experience for you.

How can I book an appointment?

How to self-book an appointment:

  1. Find the repair you need. Or any similar product if you are unsure.
  2. Select “Fix device now”

Phone Purchase FAQs

These phones you are selling - are they brand new, original, and authentic?

Yes, all the devices which we advertise as new, are 100% brand new, unused, original, and authentic. Money-back guarantee.

As we also sell used mobile phones and tablets, all of our products will be transparently advertised as new/used.

Why are your selling prices so much cheaper than the official stores?

We sell our phones cheaply as the mobile phone resellers’ market is very competitive. We want to sell our stocks as quickly as possible to hit the MOQ of our suppliers, which translates into big savings for you.

Are there any hidden charges on top of the advertised prices?

No. There are absolutely no hidden charges. No GST too. However, do note that there is a handling fee for transactions above $1000 and/or transactions by VISA/ MasterCard/ AMEX.

Do these phones come with a warranty?

Yes, all new phones/tablets which are advertised as local sets come with full warranty coverage from the respective authorized service centers. The duration of the warranty is one to two years depending on the brand. You can find the type and duration of warranty coverage in the first paragraph of all our product listings. Additionally, we will issue shop receipts for every sale.

Used mobile phones and tablets come with 30 days in-house warranty by Mister Mobile.

What happens if the device is defective?

Please check that your product is in good order before you leave our store.

If the device is found to be defective IN our store, we will exchange it on the spot. Exchange is no longer possible after you have left our premises. We will direct you to the respective service centers for after-sales support.

We emphasize that such an exchange policy is consistent with all major brands in Singapore, such as Apple, Samsung, SingTel, StarHub, and M1.

Can I claim GST?

No, Mister Mobile is not GST-registered. All purchases are Nett price without GST, which also means that you are not entitled to a GST refund from the purchase.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, PayNow, GrabPay and ShopeePay.

For payment by PayNow, GrabPay and ShopeePay, there is a handling fee (1-3%) for transactions that exceed $1000.

Payment by VISA / MasterCard /AMEX will incur a handling fee of 3% regardless of the transaction amount.

As such, please pay in cash to enjoy the maximum savings without any handling fee.

I wish to opt for delivery, how does this work?

We have 2 delivery options (COD or Express delivery), both of which cost $15 on top of our advertised selling prices (delivery fees may vary to the prevailing courier charges). Please contact us on WhatsApp for arrangements.

Cash on Delivery (COD) – You can pay by cash or PayNow when you receive the product. COD option on the same day is possible for orders which are confirmed before 12 pm each day (including public holidays and weekends). Our own driver will deliver between 1 pm to 6 pm on the same day. Orders which are confirmed after 12 pm can opt for the Express Delivery option. Otherwise, your order will be scheduled for delivery on the next day, 1 pm to 6 pm.

Express Delivery within 3 hours (Full payment prior to delivery) – This option is available between 11 am to 9 pm daily. You can make payment via PayNow or bank transfer.  Once we have received full payment,  a third-party courier will pick up your order and deliver it to your doorstep. You will receive your order within 3 hours. COD is not possible for the Express Delivery option as the outsourced couriers are unable to collect cash on our behalf.

Section II: Terms and Conditions

  • Goods sold are not refundable
  • Cancellation of services is not allowed once the repair or delivery is in progress.
  • Payment methods: Cash, PayNow, GrabPay, and ShopeePay. A handling fee of 1-3% applies for PayNow, GrabPay, and ShopeePay for transactions above $1000. A handling fee of 3% applies for VISA/ MasterCard / AMEX transactions regardless of the transaction amount.
  • Mister Mobile is not GST registered. All advertised prices are net. GST will not be charged.
  • Faulty or unrepaired devices that are not collected within 90 days will be disposed of. Disposal service is free of charge. You will not receive any compensation for any losses resulting from such disposal.

Section III: Privacy Policy

  • It is necessary to provide your password or unlock your device, strictly for function-test purposes only. We will NOT access any of your apps that contain sensitive or private information such as messages, WhatsApp, Contact book, Photo Gallery, video. We will access apps such as the dialer, camera, and settings. We may also insert our SIM card to test the calling function of the device.
  • Any employee found to breach such protocol is considered to have contravened with the PDPA act and will be dealt with severely.
  • If you are uncomfortable with providing your password, please inform our team before the repair.
  • While we do not compel our customers to divulge their passcodes, incomplete function-testing may result in consequences such as delayed repair time, and a limited warranty for the replaced part only.
  • We promise that all contact information provided to us will not be shared with any unauthorized entities.
  • We promise that all contact information will be safeguarded and restricted to authorized personnel only, in accordance with the PDPA act.
  • Collection of data via NRIC is required for phone trade-in under the Secondhand Dealers Good Act by the Singapore Police Force.
  • Personal information that we collect: contact information (name, phone number, email address that was provided to us by you)
  • How we use your personal information: to contact you for after-sales service, to send you marketing emails (which you can un-subscribe to)

Section IV: Warranty Policy

For Repair services:

  • There is a warranty of 30 days for every repaired device unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • There is no warranty for general services, such as camera removal, water damage cleaning, and installation services where parts are from your own source.
  • Warranty does not cover pre-existing issues, loss of data, water corrosion, cracks, cosmetic defects such as scratches or dents, or human error.
  • For water-damaged units, our warranty applies to the replaced part only.
  • Repair records are saved in our e-system. Your repair details and warranty will be retrieved by an identifier which is your mobile phone number.

For Purchases:

  • Warranty for brand new mobile devices - 180 days or agent warranty (whichever is applicable)
  • Warranty for accessories or used mobile devices - 30 days
  • Warranty does not cover cosmetic defects, water damage, cracked screens, human error.
  • Items sold are non-refundable or returnable
  • Mister Mobile reserves the right to either repair or exchange the defective product.
  • Terms and conditions for exchanges: Exchanged items must be equal or higher value (with topup of the excess balance).
  • No refund will be given for the exchange of items with a lower value.
  • Exchanging from a used device to a new device is not allowed.
  • Ensure that the product has no missing items.
