Skin tone: Medium to dusky Hello, all! Recently, I purchased a cleanser and a dark spot corrector from Palmer’s Eventone range. I already love the moisturizer from this range, and so, I was pretty happy for the other products from the same collection. Today, I am going to review the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Eventone Dark Spot Corrector. Let’s see how this product fared for me. Price: Rs 630 for 3g Ingredients: My Experience with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Eventone Dark Spot Corrector:This product comes housed in a white and peach colored cylindrical tube with a pump. This tube comes packaged in a white cardboard carton with all the product details and ingredient list printed on it. The pump dispenser makes it easy to use the product. Overall, it’s a nice packaging. The product is creamy white in color and has a hybrid consistency, somewhere between a cream and a gel. There is a funny smell to the product which I can’t exactly explain, but I think it’s because of the mushroom extract used in this product. The smell fades away after some time. The product is neither too thick nor too thin. A little bit of the product goes a long way. I usually use this product more like a treatment. I use it after I cleanse and tone my face, and follow this with a moisturizer. The product can be used on the specific areas or the whole face. I like to use it on my entire face and neck, as I want it to work on my uneven skin tone and acne scars. The cream feels light and gets easily absorbed by the skin, and it is non-greasy. I have been using this two times a day for the past one month. It moisturizes the skin well and makes the skin soft. So, now coming to the claims, which are lighten skin tone, treat discoloration, uneven skin tones and correct dark spots and post-acne scars. The product corrected my uneven skin tone to an extent and I could see a brightening effect on my skin, but I couldn’t see any remarkable change. But, it requires a lot of time to work as it works slowly and steadily. It did lighten some acne scars, though very lightly but didn’t do anything about my prominent scars. Overall, I think it is an average product. It requires some time to work well. I think it is an optional product which you can totally skip, as the results are not extraordinary.
