Navy blue and grey air max 90

The classic Sportswear runner Nike Air Max 90 has hit retailers in this new color-up, keeping things simple and classy with its navy blue and grey look. The last pair of 90s we saw used a pretty colorful “USA” scheme, so these are a nice change of pace for fans of basic color blocking.

As mentioned above, navy blue leather works as the base on the mudguard, mid-panel and toe. The Air Max window surround is also done int that very hue. Grey mesh fills in the toe box and is also used on the tongue and near the ankle. A bit of silver silver was added in on the forefoot to compliment the mesh. finally, a white midsole matches up with the liner, laces and Swoosh.

This Air Max 90 has a mesh base and smooth leather overlays on the toe cap, the eye stay panel and the mudguard all in the titular Navy Blue hue. The laces and ribbed TPU accents on the eye stay panel and the heel tab all follow suit. White smooth leather profile Swooshes sweep across both the medial and lateral mid-panels to provide a crisp contrast. They also happen to be 3M reflective, making night runs safer. University Blue adds to the colour mix on the mid-panel Air Max-branded cutouts and the Nike branding on both the tongue tabs and the heel tabs. An all-white midsole with a ribbed Navy accent housing transparent Air units and a Navy rubber outsole wrap up the design of this shoe.

Despite debuting 32 years ago, the Nike Air Max 90 remains one of the most popular products currently offered by the Swoosh.

Recently, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design emerged in a compelling mix of greys and blues. Color-blocking deviates from the model’s inaugural style, with mudguards, quarter panels and base layers opting for varying shades of grey. TPU components and swooshes at the profiles deviate in contrasting blues that won’t seem out of place in either a summer or fall sneaker rotation. Air Max units underfoot don’t indulge in any eye-catching tone, but their surrounding cassette does. Lastly, waffle-patterned tread bring down some of the blue colors found up-top, creating an equal balance between the sneaker’s two titular hues.
