I bought this item and it was officially shipped and sold from Amazon and as such I had no doubts but when my friend and I used the packs for drafts he commented on how some of the colors looked off to him which is when we found the issue. Interestingly I never got a card more than 4 times. Did get 2 misprints with just a shadow of extra text. Overall very satisfied 👍. The box shrink wrap was official, but there was a hole in the side of the wrapping (like the photo from another reviewer) and ALL the packs had a weird dent near the middle top of the pack, where normally it is sealed straight. It looks like it was poorly resealed, and the pull tab was missing from EVERY single pack. On top of that, every card seemed darker in tint compared to the other Midnight Hunt cards I got from single boosters, the cards inside the booster packs were upside, backwards, in an atypical order from the way they came in store packs, etc. Some of the cards were even bent! Not all of them, just an occasional one here and there. i genuinely felt like most of the cheap cards had to have been real, but it looks like someone picked and chose the ones they wanted and added either fake or completely outside cards to the pack. I RECCOMEND BUYING LOCALLY. Something collectable and this expensive shouldnt be bought in a rush, and that was my mistake, and now I can't even return the product because i rushed through and tore apart the box and packages, trusting that they were fine. APPARENTLY. It is actually common for people to pull out cards, carefully, reseal them, and return them to amazon with the APPEARANCE that they are "still sealed," except it wasnt even completely sealed. the top of the box was even slightly punctured. EVEN IF you are lucky and get a good pack or real cards, the risk isn't worth it, and even if the box is intact, I'm finding that it STILL might not even be guaranteed returnable, as you would EXPECT from amazon. BE CAREFUL. The cards LOOK very realistic, but again, not worth the risk even if just SOME of them are fake, because odds are, its probably the ones worth the most that will come up fake. The seller (which is actually officially amazon in this case) should DEFINITELY not be selling boxes with broken wrapping, that's ridiculous. I'm still not even sure how people return these boxes because again, I wasn't even given an option, but apparently people are because I've even seen a thread of messages from a seller complaining that people keep returning their cards claiming they are fake, but putting fake cards in them somehow. Unsure of how much of this information is grounded, but again, why take that risk and be paranoid when you can just buy from a local shop and sleep at night. I was very suspect of these boxes as the security seal was inside out. As I can't really resell such a box, I opened one just to see if the packs looked ok. I think thay may not be reasealed, but I can't be sure, no high value cards, but that does not prove anything. I will not return the unopened box, as why should some other sucker get this box? I suspect it is just WOTC poor quality control, but that's it for me. No more will I buy sealed MTG boxes from Amazon.
