Question: I've been using Google Drive for awhile now and it's been great, but I decided to move over to iCloud Drive so I can keep everything in the Apple ecosystem. Moving everything over was relativley easy but I have some concerns with iCloud Drive that I'm hoping can be addressed before I pull the plug on my Google Drive: 1. When I update or upload a new file, it doesn't seem to be uploading to iCloud Drive. In my Finder, I get the little cloud icon next to the file. If I login at icloud.com, the new files are not there. This is happening with files I created a few days ago, still not there. 2. Is there any way to force a sync (upload new files or download new files) on all of my devices? It seems like you just have to wait? 3. Is there any way to get status? Google Drive would give you a nice toolbar icon that showed sync progress. All I see with iCloud Drive is the status wheel in my Finder which seems to be inaccurate or frozen most of the time.
