good as it gets! 🙌🏼 These Prosciutto & Asiago Cheese Stuffed Pork Chops are one of my all-time favorite summer meals. Inspired by one of the best-selling entrées we’d feature throughout the summer at the Italian restaurant I worked at after of college, they’re seriously simple to prepare – I promise! I always feel so fancy anytime I serve them, but love how quickly and easily
they come together. High-quality ingredients shine in this recipe – the fundamental of Italian cooking! You’ll stuff bone-in pork chops with thinly sliced prosciutto & asiago cheese, dip them in a simple balsamic marinade, & grill each pork chop for a few minutes per side. The cheese inside melts, creating an ooey-gooey pool throughout the center of the chops, while the pork stays totally juicy & tender thanks to the quick grill time. This is a summer staple for me – I’ve made this dish countless times every summer for the past 10+ years & everyone I’ve served them to raves about them. Not only do these grilled pork chops have an impressive wow factor (beautiful char marks & gooey melted cheese), they also pack crave-worthy flavor into each bite. Savory prosciutto adds richness, while the balsamic marinade adds a kiss of subtle sweetness. They’re salty, sweet, & mega-flavorful…what’s not to love?!
