What can you buy with the OTC+Healthy Food benefit?
OTC+Healthy Food is a valuable benefit that’s included with dual health plans from UnitedHealthcare.* This benefit gives our members credits to buy OTC products and covered groceries at many retailers. The credits are loaded on a prepaid card, which members can use to pay at checkout. They
can spend all their credits on healthy food, all on OTC products or some of each. Either way, members get the items at no cost to them.

Where can you spend OTC+Healthy Food credits?
OTC+Healthy Food credits are accepted at many stores, from small corner shops and neighborhood stores to large national retailers like Walgreens and Walmart. You may also be able to get your groceries delivered from Walmart.com or use other home delivery options from Mom’s Meals.*
With most dual health plans, you can also order OTC products through a catalog. When you order online or by phone, the items will be mailed to you and delivered right to your door.

We’ve just given it a new name and improved the look. Your debit card from UnitedHealthcare is an easy way to pay from your FSA. You can use it to pay by phone, the Web, or at any place that accepts MasterCard.

The member can use the Healthy Foods Card just like a credit card. The card can be used at thousands of participating stores, including CVS, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreens and Walmart.

Healthy Start vouchers can be spent on plain cow’s milk, infant formula, fresh, frozen or tinned fruit, vegetables, pulses and dried pulses (free from added fat, salt, sugar or flavourings) at participating retailers.

A: In order to purchase OTC medicines with an FSA or HSA card, you need a prescription — and this feature is not yet supported by Amazon. That said, you can use other payment methods to purchase these items on Amazon and then request reimbursement from your plan administrator.

Can I buy frozen chips with healthy Start vouchers?
You can’t spend your vouchers on: fresh or frozen fruit and veg that has added ingredients like salt, oil or seasoning, e.g. oven chips, battered onion rings or salad with dressing.
