To add your Cash Card to Apple Pay:

  1. Tap the Cash Card icon in the Cash App
  2. Tap the image of your Cash Card 
  3. Choose to Add to Apple Pay
  4. Agree to terms of service

  2. Tap the image of your Cash Card
  3. Select Add to Google Pay
  4. Follow the steps

To add your Cash Card to Google Pay:

  1. Open Google Pay and tap + Payment Method
  2. Scan your Cas App Card or enter details manually
  3. Follow the steps

How to Activate the Cash Card

To be able to use your Cash Card (or any card, for that matter), you’ll have to activate it first. Again, the process is straightforward. 

To activate your Cash Card using the QR code:

  1. Tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen
  2. Tap the image of your Cash Card
  3. Tap Activate Cash Card
  4. Tap OK when your Cash App asks for permission to use your camera
  5. Scan the QR code

If you don’t have the QR Code anymore:

  1. Tap the Cash Card icon on the Cash App home screen
  2. Tap on the image of your Cash Card
  3. Tap Activate Cash Card
  4. Tap Use CVV Instead
  5. Enter the CVV code and expiration date

Cash Card Limits

The limit for Cash Card is $7,000 per transaction. Then there are some other limits that you should be aware of:

  • $7,000 per day
  • $15,000 per month

As you can see, the limits will be more than enough for the vast majority of users, as heavier users will be using a traditional bank card anyway. 

The limits reset at:

  • 7 pm CT for the daily limit 
  • 7 pm CT every Saturday for the weekly limit 
  • 7 pm CT on the last day of the month for the monthly limit 

It’s also important to note that the limits include all Cash Card transactions, no matter if they are in-store or online, and even include ATM withdrawals. 

Also, any attempted transaction, successful or rejected, applies toward these limits.

To see your account statements:

  1. Sign into cash.app
  2. Click on the Statements button in the top-right corner
  3. Select the monthly report you want to see
