Best western premier eden resort & suites

The staff is excellent! Everyone was so kind & friendly. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. I prefer a softer bed but, wasn’t terrible. The property was clean & well maintained. My only complaint is the food. The buffet breakfast, although there was a nice variety, all the food was cold. The eggs were different, the bacon had a terrible flavor & the donuts were stale. The rest would have been better if it was hot. I will stay again but, I will not patronize the restaurant.

It is an old place with old amenities. The hotel did not have slippers in the room for guests to use.

We stayed on a Sunday and has reservations for the champagne brunch at 1:15. We arrived at 12:30 and were able to check into our room before our brunch reservation. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays and they had Santa there to take photos. Our room was spacious, very clean and the bathroom was spacious and I appreciated the shower (no tub) with handheld shower spray and a waterfall spray. The bed was comfortable and we were on the adults only floor which was quiet (a great thing for us since we have 4 kids and 2 dogs at home). The selection of food at the champagne brunch was vast but I didn’t feel the quality of food was any more than mediocre at best. The salmon was so dry it crumbled and has little to no flavor. There was a lot of fruit choices however none of it was very good/sweet and the melon was hard. The donuts and pastries were almost all dry and hard and the dinner rolls were also dry and hard. The pasta had no flavor from the pasta station. Most of the employees were great and the ambience was wonderful but the food itself needs a lot of improvement. I would absolutely return to the hotel but I would definitely eat at other local restaurants instead. The indoor hot tub was very busy (we didn’t get there until after 8pm) so we had to wait until around 8:45 to get a spot in the hot tub and it closed at 9 but was still enjoyable. We liked that there were rooms attached to the indoor pool area and will ask for that when we return with the kids.
