Whirlpool cabrio washer fabric softener dispenser clogged

When it cycles to the top fabric softener hole the water shoots out so fast that it overflows and goes onto the floor below the machine, I never seen it come out so fast in this area, as if there is a pressure regulator or a switch that is malfunctioning. really need your help as I have 2 small grand children here and lots of clothes....

Thats very odd, you may have a semi-clog in the fabric softener dispenser causing the water to spray and not stream through the fabric softener dispenser.

I'd first check that dispenser and the port holes in it. It should just unsnap out from the top.

I did that already, it seems that when it goes to one of the dispensers (not necessarily the softener one) the water comes gushing out at full force! I don't ever remember that happening. I even poured hot water down the dispensers at a fast rate and that worked fine, it's just that now it's coming out full force and it overflows very fast and goes all over the floor.

We have a 4 year extended warranty on this machine, so I called them again, i'll let you know what happens.....

Is their a service manual for this machine?

So, the repairman was here say's he doesn't know what's wrong with the machine so he lowered the water pressure going into the machine and said use it like this! Can you believe this!!!
He took the electronic cover off the machine and ohmed out the water inlet valve and said it was ok. So we are fighting for a new machine since they can't fix it.

Yes, thats very odd indeed. Then its likely the water inlet valve is the culprit, it controls the water flow into the machine for all the dispensers and main tub fill.

So, they sent a 4th repair company over, A company called "Dan-Marc"
He was very knowledgeable about the machine, he put it into diagnostic mode and turned on the dispensers one at a time and watched them overflow!! He said it was the inlet water valve, same one you said! He ordered it as it's not in stock around here, it will be here on Thursday.
I'll let you know the outcome.

I don't have the service manual for that model, mine only goes up to WTW5700

So, the repairman came today with the new inlet water valve and replaced it, the machine now works great! He also told us that this part is replaced quite a bit on these machines. So it took 2 weeks to get fixed under warranty but it didn't cost us anything........not too bad.
Now all the loads of clothes to be done......sheesh.
