Can I watch Chicago Bears game on fuboTV?

fuboTV

Yes, you can watch the Bears on Fubo TV. Fubo carries CBS, FOX, ESPN and NBC. One of the features I like best with a Fubo subscription is it’s easy to pause a membership when the NFL is in off-season and start back up when the leaves start to fall. This offers NFL fans considerable savings.

As an added bonus, Fubo TV carries NBC Sports Chicago, which is the regional sports network that carries the Bulls (NBA), Blackhawks (NHL), and the White Sox (MLB).

Fubo also carries the Marquee Sports Network, which is the regional sports network for the Cubs (MLB).

Can I watch the Chicago Bears on Sling TV?

Sling Blue

Note: Sling TV only carries FOX and NBC in select markets, and does not have ESPN. CBS and ABC are only available with a streaming antenna.

However, Chicago is one of the markets that Sling TV offers both FOX and NBC in. This means a lot of Bears regular season games will be available on Sling Blue, and if the team plays on Sunday Night Football, Sling will have the game as well on NBC.

Even though Sling Blue doesn’t offer total NFL coverage, we recommend it here because, with the cost of streaming services rising, some fans will want a more budget friendly option.

Hulu + Live TV

Yes, Hulu + Live TV carries the channels you need to watch the Bears when they are on national or regional TV.

Hulu carries NBC Sports Chicago, but not the Marquee Sports Network, which means baseball fans on the south side will be happy, but not on the north side.

How to Watch the Chicago Bears out-of-market

The 506 Sports regional maps teach us that, while it’s not the slam dunk that FOX 32 is, the Bears are on a lot in Illinois, northern Indiana, parts of Iowa, Minnesota, and the Dakotas. Several times every season, they will also be on national TV. As such, if you live in the midwest, it might not be worth the money to pay for an NFL Sunday Ticket package. If you live farther away, and love the Bears, you might want to give this premium out-of-market feature a try.

DirecTV Stream + NFL Sunday Ticket

DIRECTV STREAM

DirecTV Stream will hold the rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket package, the NFL’s out-of-market solution, for one more year. After the 2022 season, the package becomes a streaming first service. For this year, you still have to show you aren’t eligible for a satellite dish to qualify for NFL Sunday Ticket. If this is you, I’d wait a year to sign-up since this rule is going away with the rise of streaming.

Note: Sunday Ticket is an additional fee ($293.96) over the DirecTV subscription.

Watching the Chicago Bears FAQ

Which cities are in-market for Chicago Bears games?

One important viewing note for cord cutting Bears fans: your zip code will determine which regular season games you get access to. The regional TV maps are always shifting from week to week, and the NFL doesn’t publicize exactly which games any given market will get on Sundays. What we do know is that the Chicago metro area will always get the Bears games on WFLD FOX 32 Chicago, or occasionally on CBS 2 if the Bears are playing an AFC opponent. Other metros like Peoria, IL, Springfield, IL and South Bend, IN will get the Bears on their local FOX affiliate, but the farther you venture from Chicago, the more likely you will be “out-of-market” and regional coverage will show a different team.
For an example, of what I am talking about, check out this map, published by 506 Sports, which details the regional TV coverage for week 4 of the 2021 NFL season. The Bears vs. Lions game was on across Illinois, Wisconsin (the Packers were the late game on CBS), Michigan, much of Iowa, and the Dakotas. Popular teams, like the Bears, often cast a large broadcast shadow across much of the country, especially in other midwestern states that don’t have NFL teams. If you are a Bears fan on the east or west coast it will be harder to get Chicago games and you will need to pay for NFL Sunday Ticket to guarantee watching the Bears on Sundays.
