Dates: Sept. 9-18, 2022 Ride Across Illinois (RAIL) North — Crosses the entire state of Illinois in one day; 175 miles from Moline to downtown Chicago. Presented by Bicycle Illinois. Dates: June 19, 2022 Ride Across Illinois (RAIL) South — The 165-mile route crosses Illinois from St. Louis, Missouri, to Vincennes, Indiana, in one day. Presented by Bicycle Illinois. Date: June 25, 2022 Bicycle Illinois (formerly Bicycllinois) routes cyclists over about 550 miles of road. The ride leaves from Cairo and ends in Chicago, with overnight stops in Carbondale, Centralia, Effingham, Champaign and Kankanee. Dates: Aug. 20 – 26, 2022 Other Illinois bike rides — Tri-State Bike Tour visits Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin in one day of riding 85 miles, with a century option. Begins in Hammond, Indiana, and travels along Lake Michigan to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Presented by Bicycle Illinois. Dates: July 17 & Aug. 27, 2022 Tour de Stoogesoffers five routes of 15, 22, 31, 42 and 64 miles in southwestern Illinois. Lunch and slapstick comedy following the ride. Meets at McKendree University, Lebanon, Ill. Fundraise Rewards Overview: For all of the cycling and walking routes, anyone under 18 years of age must have an assigned registered adult riding or walking with them. Helmets with chin strap fastened are required for ALL riders. Ear buds are NOT allowed during this ride.
