SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated adds lovely visuals to a classic 3D platformer that was originally released in 2003. Based on the populare Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants you play as SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy and using their unique set of skills you must thwart the bad robots that have been released into Bikini Bottom by Plankton. This remake features an all new multiplayer mode and content which was cut from the original game. Cheats, Tips and StrategyBelow is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include turning off the smart camera and trading with Mr Krabs. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below: How to Switch CharactersYou can switch between SpongeBob, Patrick, and sandy in-game to utilise their special abilites by looking for a bus stop which will look like a metal pole with a shell on top. If you approach the bus stop and click the button that prompts you. A red bus will appear and you will be able to switch character. How to Save your GameAlthough there are autosaves and checkpoints in SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated for when you inevitably die you can also save the game manually whenever you want. To do this press the pause button on your device and click 'Options' at the bottom of the screen. Then just scroll down to 'Save Game'. Where to Find Extra Golden SpatulasYou can collect extra golden spatulas by searching the different buildings in Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrate as many of them such as Squidward's house will have golden spatulas hidden inside. You can also get a golden spatula by taking care of Mr. Krabs' robot problem at the Krabby Patty. Trade with Mr KrabsYou will find Mr Krabs hanging around in every section of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated and if you talk to him he will offer you a golden spatula in exchange for some shiny things. Every time you go to Mr Krabs for a golden spatuala he will demand more shiny things. Use Fast Travel to Save TimeAt the map in the 'Pause' menu you will be able to reduce the amount of time you spend running around by using fast travel. To get to a particular spot on a level you simply have to highlight the nearest golden spatula and you will fast travel there. Using fast travel does not cost anything. How to get the Cruise BubbleThe cruise bubble is like a missile you can aim at things far away. It is unlocked in the last area of Bikini Bottom once you have defeated Robot Patrick. You will find Bubble Buddy standing by the road who will show you how to use it. How do you get shiny objects fast in SpongeBob?Playing this Guppy Mound slide over and over again is the fastest way to earn shiny objects that we've discovered so far. The amount you'll earn will vary depending on how many Tiki crates you smash, but you can quite easily earn around 1,500 shiny objects on each run down the slope.
What is the Bubble Bash button?Press and hold the Bubble-Bash button while on the ground and SpongeBob will wind up a throw: the longer the button is held down, the faster it'll travel! Practice aiming with the bowling pin aimer on the line of Wooden Tikis behind Bubble Buddy. Nearby will be the entrance to Rock Bottom, and a Pressure Plate.
How many golden spatulas do you need to beat SpongeBob rehydrated?There are 100 golden spatulas in total, and you'll need to find them all to 100% complete the game. Finding the golden spatulas also unlocks the Spatula Seeker, Super Spatula Seeker, Ultra Spatula Seeker, Mega Spatula Seeker, and Super Ultra Mega Spatula Seeker Trophies.
