Hello, I am trying to use "should" as a more complex way of using conditional, as in "Should you require any further assistance, please let me know", however I am facing some doubts. In the idea of "If I don't take this opportunity, what module will we be attending instead?" (is it correct though ?), can we say "Should this opportunity not being taken, what module
will we be attending instead?"? Thanks!
It's overly complicated and also why use the passive? It would also help if you explained what you mean by 'attending a module'. Thanks. Is it better to write "Should we not take this opportunity, ..."
or does this stay complicated? It is meant to be addressed to a teacher, so I am looking for a quite formal way of saying this, unless I am going the wrong way.
