So I noticed that since having this case on my new iPhone 12 pro MAX, I kept finding the ringer shut off and missing important calls/text. Turns out that the case does not fit very snug around the phone and tends to slide off the phone a bit enough to turn off the ringer button. Maybe I got a bad case but almost 100% of the time when I take the phone out of my pocket the ringer is turned off. If you are expecting important calls this can be a problem. (See photo.)

Although it's a bit on the pricey side, I order this product about once a year because of constant use of my phone. I think it's a good investment. I love the color and I also love the fact that it fits perfectly on my phone and takes all of about 15 seconds to replace the old one with this new one. I think the price could be brought down a bit with "cheaper" packaging, though I'm not sure. But again, it's a great product!

OK, I’ll admit it. I can be really forgetful. I put my phone on top of my car’s hood while I was loading gear into it, hopped in, and drove down the road. About five minutes into my drive, I decided to make a call, but when I did, my car’s hands-free call system told me there was no call list present, I knew something was amiss. I circled back toward my house, and scouring the road I saw it (barely, because the case and phone are black, and the road was asphalt). When I retrieved it, my heart sank when I saw the condition of the case. I thought for sure the phone was a goner. But, to my surprise, thanks to this exact case (and the toughness of the phone itself, I’m sure), the phone survived without a scratch. The case was totally wrecked, however, so I bought another one exactly like the old one. I did modify it, however, by adding a lanyard. To do that, I used a commercially available phone lanyard, drilled 2 tiny holes in the side of the case, and threaded the lanyard attachment cable through it. Now, if my hands are full, I can loop the lanyard on my wrist, rather than doing the stupid car hood thing. So far, no problems with the case holding up under the added strain on the side caused by holding the phone by the lanyard. I highly recommend this product.

Doesn’t make my pro max huge like some cases and is very comfortable in my hand. Very good protection. I did get a tear in the bottom after heavy use but otherwise is very sturdy. Works great with MagSafe too!

It would seem fair to start with the good points:

1. It looks incredible.
2. The blue is beautiful.
3. It feels lovely.

I’m afraid that’s where the positives end as this phone case is fundamentally not fit for purpose:

1. The material used is so soft and slippery that when you use the phone it slides around in your hands. So often I’ve almost dropped the phone whilst using it.

2. The silicon is an absolute magnet for any dust or fluff. What’s in pockets? Fluff. Lots evidentially. Every time I take this phone out of my pocket I have to wipe loads of nasty ‘pocket fluff’ away. Obviously at no point in the R&D process did an apple engineer put a phone case into their actual pocket. Or maybe they did and their California pockets are fluff free. Who knows.

3. It stains very easily. Fingerprints mainly, but stays looking beautiful for about 30 seconds.

Absolutely mad that apple can charge so much for this tat I wouldn’t sell on a market stall.

Apple Silicone Case with MagSafe (for iPhone 12 Pro Max) - Black.

I must admit usually I don't like cases on my mobile phones. It without a doubt spoils the look of the phone, that's been designed to look amazing without a case.
Having said that when ones just paid out £1100 on a new phone, I feel at least for the first few months I'd better look after it.
This silicone case by Apple is 100% genuine and was cheaper than purchasing direct, and was delivered next day via Prime. The quality is what you expect from Apple, and fits the 12 Max Pro perfectly.

Overall it's not cheap but why pay £1100 for a new mobile and stick a £10 case on it and hope it will protect It.

As with previous Apple silicon cases, this one is excellent. They cover all the phone edges and, from personal experience, I can vouch for the effectiveness of the silicon protection when a phone is dropped, even on to tarmac. I bought this case in advance of my new iPhone 12 Pro Max so that I could protect it from the moment I had the new handset. The main differences between this and previous Apple Silicon cases is that I covers all edges (my last case left a gap at the bottom) and it has a really robust feeling lip around the huge camera lenses that are a feature of the latest iPhones.
I recommend these Apple cases and know the price-tag can be off-putting, but it really is a “you get what you pay for” situation. Cheaper cases pale in comparison and don’t last as long. I had my previous iPhone 6S Plus for 5 years and only used 2 of these Apple Silicon cases over that time. They really do last well. I used to buy cheap cases for £10 or so each, but they would only last 6 months to a year.

From the back it looked genuine. But I’m pretty sure that the inside is supposed to have the MagSafe circle. Really upset about this!!
