Worst hotel ever. Do not stay here. You will see homeless people all around the facilities and you will be scared of your safety. The rooms are very dirty and smells very bad all around the hotel. Stay away from this hotel.

There’s a lot of homeless people doing dries right outside your room. The walkway smells like piss. There’s also roaches. Try to stay away from here. Security doesn’t do his job. There’s constantly homeless people fighting in the parking lot or sitting on the stairs.

We booked in a hurry and only because of the brand, which we've always trusted. But this is a La Quinta in name but not in nature. Truth is, it's a nasty motel not a hotel. The neighbourhood is sketchy and as we drove up, there were some very dubious characters hanging around the hotel. We considered going to another hotel, but needed to be somewhere only a couple of hours later. The front desk girl was very spaced out, but not unfriendly. The room was dingy, but being a ground floor and outward-facing, we didn't want the undesirables hanging around peering in so didn't open the curtains at all. The carpet and furnishings were all very tired and worn. The bathroom is a disgrace - the tub looked as if it had been installed by a 5-year-old, the drain was proud of the tub floor, the shower head was at my chest level and the water pressure was very uncomfortable. There is no Wi-fi. Really, La Quinta.....? As we were going out for the evening, we wanted to have some background noise in the room to make it appear that someone was in the room - because of the undesirables around the complex - but the TV remote didn't work properly, and there was no radio in the room. The bed at least was fairly comfortable, but there were only 3 small pillows. Sleep wasn't aided by the constant movement and talking from the undesirables around the complex.... We didn't bother with the 'breakfast' - the breakfast area was tiny and the range of 'food' was pathetic. My wife contacted La Quinta's customer service after we returned home, but they seemed to not really care about the damage this location causes to their brand. We used points to stay here, and my wife asked for a refund of half of them; they only offered a fifth..... I do wonder if we'll bother to stay at a La Quinta again - if corporate can't be bothered, why should we? All in all, this was undoubtably the worst 'hotel' I've ever stayed in. If i could give it a zero rating I would. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Extremely disappointing stay. No Wi-Fi. Phone doesn't work. Ice machine broken. Power outlet in room not functioning. Breakfast to go, no trays so good luck trying to carry more than 2 items back to your room as there is nowhere to sit in breakfast area. Went to reception to discuss, girl busy on the phone, she finally took a break to recognize me When I told her the issues she didn't bother to write anything down.

The rooms were okay. But the location is not good. The place needs some definite upkeep. Some of the stuff I met and interacted with were very pleasant and cordial and some of them should not be in the business of customer service. I personally will not stay here again. However if you're looking for a place to crash as your passing through overnight it might be okay however if you have small children I wouldn't recommend it.

Tip do not book this location. I seen the reviews and it is a centralized location. I wanted to give it a chance as you cannot read into others experiences at times. Well, I was wrong. Was not happy whatsoever. I would never allow my children to sleep in such a place. This was worse than all of my military stays in various regions. Horrendous. I don't mind being in some places but oh I should have paid attention to all of the reviews. Booked and entered the room. I spent an hour on the phone stating the status of the room and other things. Packed up my belongings and family took off to another location in Phoenix/Tempe area.

This was the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival, I was checked in by a young lady who appeared put out by the fact that I had interrupted her cigarette break with her friends. She was rude, unfriendly, ignorant, and I felt like she couldn't get me out of there quick enough. She did, however, have the audacity to tell me everything in the hotel is paid by credit card but that she does accept cash tips! I was met at the entrance to the room by a homeless person asking for money; I wanted to leave there and then but, having just driven eight hours, didn't have the energy. My room had obviously not been cleaned properly; there were still hairs from someone shaving the sink, a cigarette butt on the floor, bits falling off of the wall and window frames, a tv that worked intermittently, and no wi-fi! This is the first hotel I've stayed at in years that doesn't have wi-fi! Despite numerous attempts to contact reception, nobody answered. She was probably smoking with her friend again! There were people partying all hours of the night even though we were required to sign stating that we were aware of the quiet hours. Clearly there is no security nor enforcement of these rules. Car alarms were going off all night, I barely slept that night. This was the worst hotel, not just La Quinta, that I have ever stayed in and I couldn't wait to leave. I didn't even go to breakfast! Never again! If I were CEO of Wyndham or La Quinta, I would be embarrassed to have myself linked to this poor excuse for a hotel.

Ugly worn down property, cockroaches, prostitutes and drug addicts all day and night. For $79.99 per night, I expected more. The only good thing about this property is that it's pet friendly. I only felt safe with my pitbulls in my room.
