Counter in second room has stains on them. Carpets throughout the hotel have stains. The hotel is run down and seems neglected. Only issue was that half of my party was already IN Orlando and, since I was paying for the room with my credit card which they already had, they wouldn't allow the others to check in until my credit card was physically IN the hotel. So my family had to drag all of their stuff around Orlando for hours until I landed in Orlando and could get over to the hotel. Quite annoying. The parking options were pretty expensive so I decided to check the park, stay, fly options. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the airport. The hotel is clean and comfortable plus the cost plus parking option fell within the pricing of the outside parking lots. Made our decision to stay easy and the service was really friendly and fast. Complaint.HEIC Please see these photos which show where the shuttle driver literally threw our suitcases out of the van onto the ground because he said we had too much luggage for him to transport. This was AFTER waiting 2 hrs to try to get back to our car that was parked at the hotel(we had paid for stay & park), In the process he broke several valuables and then called the police on me. The final picture is the man’s name badge. I really hope that this never happens to anyone else. As compensation they offered me 5000 Wyndham points which is a joke! Lori F wrote a review Jul 2022 2 contributions I have stayed at several La Quinta locations in the past, but this was by far the worst. While the staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean, those are the only compliments I can pay. The mattress was so worn out that, even before any humans were on it, the center sagged SIGNIFICANTLY. Additionally, the shower never got hotter than very warm, and the phone in the room was completely non-functioning. When I picked up the handset to contact the from desk, the cord fell out of the receiver, and I noted the cord to the wall had also come out. Apparently, the small clip that holds the cord in place had been broken on both. Even when manually holding the cord in place, the call would not place. Lastly, the “store” in the lobby was out of almost everything, leaving only a few sodas and some frozen meals behind. When using a hotel room, the main functions are sleeping, showering, and contacting the front desk/outside world. This room failed miserably in all three categories.
