"Being a student at MCB has made all the difference for me because the college excels in all areas of business instead of just one. The class sizes are small enough to get to know your professors and other students, which makes learning all the more impactful. My professors are always willing to work with me so that I fully understand the material, instead of just forcing me to memorize it. Becoming a General Business student at UNC was the best choice I ever made."

What is the difference between business administration and general business?

Administration means running day-to-day operations. The definition of management, however, is taking control of something. A business administrator runs the company's day-to-day operations while the business manager focuses more on overall leadership. One person can do both things in a small business.

What is business administration also known as?

Business administration (also known as business management) is the administration of a commercial enterprise. It includes all aspects of overseeing and supervising the business operations of an organization.

What is general management in business administration?

A general management degree is a more in-depth, specialized course that includes the topics of business administration, economics, and international management, and that trains you to be a manager in the world of business.

Which one is better business administration or business management?

Business administration tends to be a better fit if you are looking to start an entry-level business career. If your career plans include management or operations — or if you're already fairly well-established in your career — you may be better suited for business management.
