How to remove glue from lace closure

2.0 out of 5 stars VERY STRONG

It’s a strong chemical. I sprayed it on and waited for the glue to become undone. I noticed a itchy like feeling but assumed it was nothing. After removing the wig and wiping the residue as well as washing my face and hairline I noticed what looks like blisters where the itch was.

This is just like to "Goo Be Gone" or whatever it's called, but it's a spray. I sprayed the wig edges to remove the glue. Let it sit for a few minutes. Ran water over it until the glue turned white. I almost could roll the glue off. I still had to work to get all the glue off, but it was less frustrating work and I removed all the glue a lot faster. Next time, I'll spray in a well-ventilated area though. The fumes had me coughing! I almost put on a K95 mask! Still, I will continue to use.

This remover easily dissolves the glue in just a few minutes. There is no sticky or gooey mess left behind because it completely dissolves the glue. And it is easy to wash out of your hair. You do not have to spray much of the remover on the glue to dissolve it. A little goes a long way. However, I took off one star because it is a small bottle for how much it cost.

Very greasy and strong smell

Small bottle did the job but my main issue was the strong smell. My allergies of sneezing everytime I used it was annoying.

All in all good product, it does it's job and really makes it easy to remove Ghost Bond, that's the wig glue I use, so I'm not sure about other wig glue brands but if it can get Ghost Bond off pretty easy it can probably get anything off.
The only downside I had was an issue another customer mentioned in their review, and that was that it smelled similar to nail polish remover. It definitely has a hint of that smell and other smells, this is a chemical mixture and the smell is NOT pleasant, it definitely smells of chemicals. I have to watch out to not breathe it in bc it will burn your nostrils, so just be careful while using it.
But it doesn't leave an oily residue behind or ANY residue behind bc it's not oil based & it's easy to use with the spray nosel.
I have bought this product several times, it's a good wig glue remover.

one spritz and my lace is lifted so easily. cant take off my wigs without it

I sprayed a little bit of the remover into a small glass jar and dripped a q-tip in it. I rubbed the area and saturated it with remover. You only need a little bit. And it began to lift off. I also used cotton balls on my skin. It washed out of my wig nicely. Agar, euses a cotton ball to remove the adhesive from my wig edges. I would highly recommend this product!
