Please note: You can not change your current user codes for almost all Schlage locks.

• Enter the original programming code (six-digit code). Wait for three Orange Lights + 3 Beeps.
• Press the Schlage button, and the keypad turns blue.
• Press the “3” buttons and wait for the Schlage button to show three Orange Lights + 3 Beeps
• Enter the new programming code (six digits) and wait for the Schlage button to show three Orange Lights + 3 Beeps
• Re-enter the same new programming code (six digits)

User Codes:

You can use this four-digit code to lock and unlock your door. It’s also called the personalized four-digit user code or private entrance four-digit entry code.

This lets you enter your home without worrying about carrying a key in your pocket or purse.

Programming Code:

The programming code is like a master password for all your Schlage products, including locks and deadbolts.

You’ll need this if you want to add a new four-digit code, delete four-digit user codes, enable vacation mode/disable vacation mode and delete all user codes.

Default Programming Code:

When you buy a new Schlage door lock and try to install it for the first time, the smart lock manufacturer supplies one unique default six-digit programming code.

You can use this default six-digit programming code to put the lock in programming mode.

You can remove the outer face of the Schlage door lock to find this six-digit code on the back of the keypad assembly and one on the front of this User Guide.

Default User Codes:

The lock comes preset with two unique default user codes. You can use both special four-digit codes to open and lock the lock for the first installation, and you can find these temporary codes on the back of the keypad assembly and one on the front of the Schlage User Guide.

Please note: You can add a max of 19 personalized user access codes in the lock.
