Instead, an announcement was made on the official Attack on Titan Twitter account shortly after the final episode of Part 2 aired, promising one final stretch and throwing in a teaser trailer for good measure.

So far, all we know is that the final batch of episodes will air at some point in 2023 – with a more precise release date not having been announced so far.
Part 1 of the final season aired from December 2020 until March 2021, with the second part then following from January 2022 until April – so we'd imagine that the final run would follow a similar pattern and air towards the beginning of next year.
We'll be looking out for any further updates confirming this in the future and will amend this page accordingly when information comes to light.
It's also worth noting that – as with previous seasons – the English release will most likely fall roughly a month after the Japanese debut for each episode.
Meanwhile, it's not yet clear just how many episodes the final run will comprise. There were 16 episodes in Part 1 and 12 in Part 2, and it's possible there could be fewer again this time around – with just nine chapters of the manga source material left to adapt.
What is the Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 plot?
The final run looks set to bring about an end to the long conflict between Paradis and Marley – so expect a massive final showdown between the two factions, as Eren and his allies take on Mikasa and the Survey Corps.
We could also see more of Floch – who looks like he could well have survived the attempted assassination by Gabi at the end of Part 2 – and Zeke, who is currently stuck in the Coordinate.
Of course, it remains to be seen exactly how things will play out, but one thing that seems certain is that the show will not go out with a whimper – so expect an epic conclusion to the series.
Attack on Titan final season cast
In the Japanese version, fans can expect Yuki Kaji to once again return as Eren Jaeger. He'll likely be joined by the likes Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa Ackerman, Marina Inoue as Armin Arlert, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Reiner Bruan, and Takehito Koyasu as Zeke Jaeger.
Meanwhile, Bryce Papenbrook will be voicing Eren Jaeger one last time in the English dub. Trina Nishimura will continue to voice Mikasa Ackerman, with Josh Grelle as Armin Arlert, Robert McCollum as Reiner Braun and Jason Liebrecht as Zeke Jaeger.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 trailer
A teaser for the final run was released at the same time Part 3 was announced – and although it doesn't give too much away about what to expect, we get a glimpse of Mikasa and her allies standing in the footprint of a Colossal Titan, while some rather ominous music plays. Attack on Titan fandom finally got the much-awaited twelfth episode of Season 4, part 2. Now, some fans wonder if we'll get episode 88 of the series tonight. Well, here's everything you need to know about the show's episode count.
Every fan of Attack on Titan was waiting for the anime to return with Part 2 of the Final Season. After a long wait, MAPPA came back with new episodes and surprised everyone with the improved animation quality. Obviously, animating the final chapters of the manga series was a challenging task, but so far, MAPPA has excelled in everything.
Each episode of Attack on Titan's Final season was a treat to watch, and Episode 87, "The Dawn of Humanity," was no different. Armin, Jean, Connie, Mikasa, Reiner, and Annie have teamed up to stop Eren. Even after losing her hometown, Annie is ready to confront Eren, but she has lost her will to fight. At this point, stopping the Rumbling feels impossible, especially after seeing Eren arriving at Marley with his army of Colossal Titans.

Attack on Titan Episode 88 Will Come out Next Year
MAPPA confirmed that Attack on Titan Season 4 Part would feature a total of 12 episodes. The twelfth and the final episode arrived on April 3rd, 2022, so you won't be getting Episode 88 of the anime series tonight.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Episode 12, or Episode 87 of the franchise, serves as the finale of the Final Season, Part 2. Of course, the anime community is heartbroken that we won't get a new episode of the anime next week. However, at the same time, everyone is delighted that it is not the end of the road for Attack on Titan.
Apparently, MAPPA confirmed that the Attack on Titan Final Season would continue for a third part. However, the anime will return sometime in 2023, and there's no exact release date as of yet. In short, you'll have to wait at least a year to watch Episode 88 and the rest of Part 3 of Attack on Titan Season 4.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Dub is Still Running
Of course, Part 2 of Attack on Titan's Final season is over; however, the dubbed version of the latest season is still getting weekly releases. The dubbed version of Part 2 started with the broadcast of Episode 76 on February 13th, 2022. So far, the dubbed version has reached up to Episode 83, and a new English dub episode will come out tonight. So, if you are someone who prefers the dubbed version over the subbed, you still have a few more weeks of AoT content left.
Anime Shows you Can Watch Now That AoT Season 4 Part 2 is Over
Obviously, it's sad that we won't get to say "Attack on Titan Sunday" for a while now. However, there are some other good anime tv shows you should look forward to watching this Spring anime season. For instance, Spy X Family, an anime show from Wit Studio and CloverWorks, has started its broadcast on Crunchyroll. Apart from that, The Rising of the Shield Hero has returned with a brand new season. Finally, Kaguya-sama is also back with its third season.
Besides that, you can also watch some old anime shows that are somewhat similar to Attack on Titan. If not, then you should definitely look forward to watching anime shows like Chainsaw Manand Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War in 2022.
