How do you say taylor in spanish

Here are 3 tips that should help you perfect your Spanish pronunciation of 'taylor':

  • Break 'taylor' down into sounds: say it out loud and exaggerate the sounds until you can consistently produce them.
  • Record yourself saying 'taylor' in full sentences, then watch yourself and listen. You'll be able to mark your mistakes quite easily.
  • Look up tutorials on Youtube on how to pronounce 'taylor'.

To further improve your Spanish pronunciation, we suggest you do the following:

  • Learn the five basic vowel sounds: unlike English vowels, each Spanish vowel has exactly one sound: A is pronounced like the “a” in ‘”Taco”. E is pronounced like the “a” in “ate”. I is pronounced like the “ee” in “see”. O is pronounced like the “o” in “go”. U is pronounced like the “oo” in “shampoo”. More explanation here.
  • Soften your T’s and D’s: the Spanish ‘T' and ‘D' are pronounced with your tongue slightly further forward in your mouth, almost touching your upper teeth. More explanation here.
  • Soft R v.s Roller R: Soft R is pronounced like a normal R. It occurs when a single 'r' is in the middle or at the end of a word. Examples: pera, pero, cara, poro, tirar, pasar.  Rolling 'r' sounds like the "r" in "rat" or "rocket", stronger and vibrating. It occurs when the R is at the start of a word or when it’s a double r ('rr') in the middle of a word. Examples: rosa, rata, roca, perro, tarro.  More explanation here, here and here
  • Learn to use contractions: when the last letter of one word is the same as the first letter of the next word. For example, the phrase “dos senderos” (two trails) would sound more like “dosenderos.”

It's a name, so there is no translation. I can't think of any John = Juan equivalent, either.

When I took my first Spanish class the teacher wanted everyone to have a Spanish name. There is no Spanish equivalent for Kevin, so she called me Donato. Donald is my first name. I don't care for Donald, and Donato even less. Native Spanish speakers have a hard time with Kevin, but I'll answer to anything close.

Yeah, i don't think there is a Spanish translation for the name. If you're looking for a similar sounding name, what about "Tea", "Natalia", "Thalía " (i don't think this is technically a Spanish name but Thalía, the singer, is Mexican. ) Or Tadeo (praise) or Tajo (day) for boys. I'm no expert here, so fell free to take it or leave it

Also, the name "Taylor" means "tailor" so maybe "maximiana" is related to "tailor", just a guess here.
