Booked the stadium view, after being told we can watch the game from the room. In reality it appears we paid extra for a view of the solar panels on top of the garage! Staff on site were amazing, and appalled we were told over the phone that there was a view of the actual of the field as the panels have been in place for years. Hotel still advertising the view that no longer exists, only view is from the rooftop bar which is minimal. Staff great, hotel clean … had it not be for the extremely disappointing promises, more stars would be appropriate.

Having stayed at Homewood Suites in Navyyard for three nights I have nothing but appreciation for the staff, especially in this time. Marietta and her staff were always accommodating and sociable! Our room was immaculate and the homewood suites kitchenette setup always makes distant trips feel more like home. While the pool was not yet available we were able to enjoy the rooftop area ! Hanging out in the rooftop gave me something to look forward to when pandemic restrictions begin to ease up and the world is open again! I highly recommend this location based on its convenience, comfortability, and the staffs effort to put their guests health and safety first!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Only stayed one night, there were seven people in one room, but it was really nice because there were two queen beds. Didn't really interact with the hotel staff too mucj, except to check in/out and get extra towels but the little that I did, there friendly and accommodating. There is a parking garage but they do charge you. Thankfully, because we were not staying long, we were able to find a spot on the street that was free. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were able to check in early (around noon) which was VERY much appreciated. Although we were only sitting on a train for 3 hours, it was a little exhausting walking in the heat. The room is bright and nice but it didn’t seem as though it was thoroughly turned over. There was a hair on the bed and bathroom when we arrived. There was one paper cup with two lids. The amenities included bottle water but non to be found. There was a red ring around the shower. Otherwise the positives were the beds very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. Hotel is conveniently located across from Whole Foods and between two metro stations within walking distance.

The hotel is superb, close to the subway station and 15 minutes walk to the Indian Museum, the Air and Space Museum and the Capitol Hill. Breakfast is quite rich, just during the Easter holiday, the breakfast time is full of adults and children. We booked a one-bedroom and one-bedroom suite. The living room and bathroom are super large. The room has two large beds. The sofa in the living room is large and can be used as a bed. There is also a dining table and kitchenette, kitchen utensils and dishes. Microwave dishwashers and coffee makers are all available for cooking. Overall, this is a hotel that is especially suitable for family and family.

The hotel rooms are large and the location is good, not far from the attractions. We went on Thanksgiving and there were few people. Unfortunately, many restaurants were closed that day. Fortunately, whole food is not far away, you can only buy something there to eat. Because it is a suite, there is a kitchen in the room, and there are all utensils. When I go next time, I will bring some ingredients to burn.

The location is excellent, in the dock area, it seems to be the local high-end living and entertainment area, the restaurants are relatively high-end. The night view is not bad. The hotel is very new, the door is small, the lobby needs to take the elevator to the second floor. The room is large, the health is good, and the view is good. The only downside is that the water in the faucet is not very clean at first, so it will be fine for a while.

The hotel room and location are good. You can visit the famous spots by foots. The only thing need to argue is the room cleaning service. The housekeeper seem scheduled to knock your room for cleaning services at 8-9am. Even I was a business traveler I don’t know the room can ready for early morning. The aweful thing is they just skip to cleaning my room. Anyway, i just stay 2 nights so i am fine.

Of all the wonderful things that RCDC has to offer, the most noteworthy thing for us is the staff at the Club Lounge. All staff members did an excellent job; particularly worth mentioning for their service are Jenny, Nayana and especially Kathy Turner. We are also especially grateful to Fatiha, also at the Club Lounge. We like to read a paper copy of The New York Times on Sunday mornings; when none was available, she or somebody else may have gone across the street and purchased one specifically for us, probably from the pharmacy. We especially appreciated the array of options offered at the presentations in the Club Lounge. We have visited many of Club Lounges throughout the RC array of properties and these offerings were certainly among the best. Particularly wonderful were the evening desserts prepared by the Pastry Chef, Patricia Serryburton. Most of the offerings were amazing; a few were knock-outs (that’s a compliment). All were beautifully presented. This is a fine hotel; for those who want the addition of the Club Lounge as part of their experience, we recommend the Club enthusiastically. It’s great to have the extra space just to relax, meet friends, read, or whatever—well worth the extra expense. And, with a dedicated staff like the one described above, this Club is hard to beat.

The Mall

Good location, not far from the main attractions, also next to the subway station. There is a Market 2 Market on the negative floor of the subway station. The 7.5-9 pounds buffet is very cost-effective and closes at 17:00. It's not the Food Court with the promotional sign, it's inside the Reagan Trade Center, it's farther away and needs security. When I went there, I caught up with the baseball team to celebrate the road closure around the parade, and the next day, a long-distance running event closed the road for a few hours. They were all police cars. The lobby bar and restaurant are almost empty during the day and are full every night. The overall feeling is magnificent, the room is very good, that is, the bathroom is too big and almost as big as the bedroom, there are free Evian and slippers and water printed with Trump. The service staff was also very welcoming. You can climb the Bell Tower for free and watch from Starbucks.

This was my first experience at a hostel, so I really can't compare it to others, however, I enjoyed my stay here. The checkin process and using the app they have can be challenging so read the emails they send you and try to arrive within the front desk operating hours so someone can assist you. Pods were nothing fancy but sufficient. I'm a 5'10”, 200 lb guy and slept pretty comfortably. They have a coffee shop on the first floor that is ok for a quick cup. The showers are in the basement and they provide towels, ask the front desk for a new one every day. The location is great as it is right by the U-street Metro station and thus the rest of DC is at your fingertips. I really enjoyed the chill vibe they had and met some great people there too!

I've stayed in 6 different hotels in D.C. in the past year. This is one to which I'll definitely return. The location works well when I'm visiting my daughter at college. And, as I like to walk, it's an easy walk to a good Whole Foods and the Foggy Bottom metro station. Its also a fairly long--but pleasant--walk to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, etc. The rooms are large. The bathrooms are extremely well thought out. The shower was huge with a textured floor that prevented slipping. Our room on the front of the hotel was quiet enough for us to sleep well. We liked the front desk staff. The housekeeping staff did a great job! The only thing that gave us pause was that you have to go up a small flight of stairs to reach the elevator and there's no bellman. However, the front desk staff immediately offered to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs, so we were fine. We liked the neighborhood, and there's an excellent bakery/coffee shop (Tatte) nearby. This hotel is definitely a keeper.

Our recent stay at this sophisticated, non-touristy oasis clinched its status as our new go-to hotel in DC. Our room was spacious and attractive, the bathroom featured the best rain shower on the planet, and the staff was professional and friendly. The double bed room was not enough, so I spent 60 dollars per night to upgrade the room. I clearly gave three breakfast vouchers. As a result, when I arrived at the restaurant, I added 7 dollars per person. The breakfast type was very small. No, only bread and fruits, cold meals. Adding seven dollars also adds two or three more. After breakfast, the service fee is recommended. Five knives are recommended. Overall breakfast was average. I chose the AC DC Downtown as the base for my travels within the nation’s capital back in July 2020. The location is absolutely unbeatable, as everything you’d need for a fulfilling DC adventure is no further than a few blocks. I appreciated my stay at this AC property and consider it to be worthy of four stars, but I hope to see improvements on just a few small aspects of my experience for next time. I should begin with the highest compliments to the staff; they were kind and attentive to all my needs. They worked to ensure I had a room facing the interior courtyard space, rather than the street, which is always a preference for me. A few guests in an adjacent room to mine were hard at work partying or goofing off or whatever, blasting loud music at around one in the morning (when I arrived after my late-night flight), and the night auditor quickly phoned that room to make them aware of their excessive noise. It stopped within minutes. And when I had to check-out early the next morning instead of stay one more night, my reservation was edited professionally and without hassle. Bravo to the staff! (Moreover, I also wish to shout-out managers Donald LeCompte and Leroy Turnquest for personally following up via email on my stay—I could tell they cared about guests’ experiences and how to best serve them again in the future. Much appreciated to receive these messages!) Now I wanna sort of sway into the aspects of my time at the AC I would’ve enjoyed better had just a few tiny improvements been made—and much of this can stem from my proactivity next visit. The rooms were COVID-clean, comfy, and very quiet from the outside air/sky/atmosphere, but their functionality was a bit questionable. I realize ACs are geared toward shorter, urban-focused stays during which the idea of a hotel isn’t as paramount, but I would’ve loved to utilize larger bedside tables/stands and more spacious walkways. If I remember correctly, I was specifically given a mobility-accessible room, which is basically false advertising for wheelchair-bound folks. For me, I managed since I can walk just fine inside my room and park my chair elsewhere, but I always try to be a voice for the disability community—please reconsider the choice to label this room as accessible if the space can’t be expanded to ADA standards. In general, I wasn’t too impressed with functionality, but I managed fine when I spent the night. Additionally, the noise from adjoining rooms is incredibly amplified. Next time I come, I will ask to sleep in a room around which no other guests are staying. I know how tough it is to fix the mechanics and structure of a big building, and I know nothing can ever be perfect, but I still desire to do my part by asking to avoid others to ensure my stay is more private and relaxed in the future. It is true I’ve dedicated a significant portion of this review to describing negatives, but please please trust me that my rating of four stars still stands. I recognize that the ma
