What are Mechanical Parts?
Mechanical Parts are classified as an intermediate crafting resource. This means they aren’t just lying around the level. They must be extracted from other objects in the environment such as car wrecks or air conditioners.
Mechanical Parts are used in many recipes. You can also smelt them in the forge to produce Iron.
Can You Craft Mechanical Parts in 7 Days to Die?
When they were introduced in version Alpha 15, Mechanical Parts could be looted from containers.
Version Alpha 17 added the option to craft Mechanical Parts at the workbench using Forged Iron and Duct Tape.
However, as of version Alpha 18.1, players can no longer craft Mechanical Parts.
Extract Mechanical Parts from other blocks in the environment using the Wrench tool. Simply left click on any of the following blocks:

Alternatively, acquire Mechanical Parts by scrapping car engines for 30 parts each.
