Do I Qualify for the Middle Class Tax Refund?
You are eligible for the Middle Class Tax Refund if you:
Filed your 2020 tax return by October 15, 2021
Meet the California adjusted gross income (CA AGI) limits described on the Middle Class Tax Refund page
Were not eliglible to be claimed as a dependent in the 2020 tax year
Were a California resident for six months or more of the 2020 tax year
Are a California resident on the date the payment is issued
How Do I Get My Middle Class Tax Refund?
Eligibility is based on your 2020 tax return.
You simply need to file your taxes to receive the stimulus payment.
When Will I Get My Middle Class Tax Refund?
The California Franchise Tax Board will issue payments until the end of this year. Payments will be issued separately from your individual state tax refund via direct deposit or prepaid debit card.For more information visit the State of California Franchise Tax Board.
