Our Parish Gift Card Program

Good for every event in your life!

"Feed Your Faith" is the Parish's easiest fundraising program.  It costs you nothing extra, but it benefits the Parish immensely!  Each gift card you buy has a return of 1.5% to 10% profit to the parish.  (The number in parenthesis represents the percentage of profit the Parish makes.)  Please consider buying the gift cards to do your grocery shopping, give as gifts, or just to purchase instead of using cash at the retailers.  Please see the list below for our participating retailers.  These gift cards are usually available every day in the Parish Office!

Gift Cards for the Food Pantry – God’s Groceries

What Can I Do To Help My Neighbor?

With the continuing worldwide COVID19 affecting us all, many families in our community are having trouble putting food on the table. Many have lost their jobs or had their hours drastically cut. Even the Food Pantries are struggling to keep up with the need in our area. Those who are able have asked “what can I do to help my neighbor?”

Since we are not collecting items at St John’s until we return to regular services, we can offer another way to help those in need. By utilizing our Gift Card Program, we can help the Food Banks close the gap and help support the Church mortgage. Here is how it works:

Folks can send in whatever they can in the form of cash or check. Anything from $1 on up. We will use these funds to purchase $5, $10, and $20 gift cards for grocery stores and department stores which carry food. (Like Target and Walmart) The Food Pantry can distribute them with, or in place of, food items, depending upon their supply. Higher denomination cards can be used by the Food Pantry to replenish their supplies.

Please make the checks payable to: St. John’s UCC - Sunday School

Meeting Needs & Planning for the Future

In our church family, we know many individuals and families are facing financial hardship, given our current economy. Often families cannot make ends meet, which makes it difficult to handle today, let alone plan for the future.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Financial Assistance Ministry supports and encourages those in need by connecting them with resources inside and outside our church community. Our staff works with individuals, helping them develop a plan to meet their immediate needs and future. If you are a NorthRidge Member or Regular Attender and would like to receive Financial Assistance, please click here.

If you have any questions, you can contact us by phone at 734.414.7777 and ask for the Care Staff. To schedule an appointment for help with budget planning and the like, don't hesitate to contact us by phone and ask for the Stewardship Office.

FOOD ASSISTANCE
Our caring and compassionate church family support our Food Assistance Program. Grocery and gift cards (i.e., gas cards) are donated through our Annual Food Drive and given at random throughout the year. We can assist NorthRidge Church families in need through gift card distribution through our Food Assistance Program. If you have questions about this program, contact the Care Staff at 734.414.7777.
