The cost of tuition varies according to the course and college you are applying to. For example, the estimate of expenses for undergraduate students is $56,854 for full-time students. Other expenses to add to the list are university fees ($1,218), medical insurance ($2,466), housing and meals ($16,640), books and supplies ($1,000), and incidentals ($4,172). The total per academic year is estimated at $82,350.

For the graduate estimate of expenses, the costs can be for 9 months or 12 months of study. The total cost of tuition for 9 months is $80,193 and $87,389 for 12 months. The cost includes tuition, university fees, health insurance, room and board, books and supplies and incidentals. If you are accompanied by a dependent such as a spouse or child, there will be additional costs for one dependent, two dependents, and for each additional dependent.

Boston University Application Fee

Undergraduate applicants need to pay an application fee of $80. The university also allows a fee waiver only for those who are eligible. For graduate admission, the application fee is $85 for degree programs and $25 for certificate programs. Once the application is sent and the application fee is paid, it is not refundable.

Admissions Requirements at Boston University for International Students

The admissions requirements needed for international students are the same as first-year or transfer application checklists. 1. Lu Lingzi Scholarship

The scholarship is granted to exceptional international master’s degree students and is given an annual stipend and full tuition waiver for the entire master’s degree program or for two years. If you are coming from China, you are given priority. To qualify for the scholarship, you must be a full-time master’s degree student and maintain good academic standing.

2. Guaranteed Funding for PhD Students

Graduate students of Boston University are guaranteed an annual stipend and a full-tuition scholarship depending on the department. The stipend amount may vary according to the PhD program. PhD students with good academic standing from Charles River Campus are given five years of Boston University scholarships ranging from $23,340 (eight months) to $35,010 (12 months), as well as a full-tuition scholarship. For PhD students on the Medical Campus, the tuition and students fees are covered and are given an annual stipend.
