Boats are safe because they are huge and also comply with the authorities. But right now, there are more options going to Puerto Galera from Batangas port. Starlite Ferries: Batangas to Puerto GaleraStarlite ferries have trips from Batangas to Puerto Galera and vice versa. In the past, they only have two trips via Economy Class (Roro), but now, they also offer a fast craft going which is only one-hour travel time, unlike the usual 2 hours. Island Calaguas had Tourist Accommodation, while in Island Biri, you have the option to choose for either Tourist or VIP. The VIP passengers will get unlimited coffee, water, and one pastry. How much is the fare from Batangas Pier to Puerto Galera?The Ferry ticket to Puerto Galera is around 250 pesos. You also need to pay the Environmental User Fee (50 pesos) and the Terminal Fee (30 pesos) at the Batangas port passenger terminal.
How long is the boat ride from Batangas to Puerto Galera?For RORO trips, the ferry will depart from Batangas at 8:00 AM and from Puerto Galera at 2:00 PM. For fast craft trips, the ferry will depart from Batangas at 10:00 AM / 2:00 PM and from Puerto Galera at 12:00 NN and 3:15 PM. The total travel time is about one hour.
Can I bring my car to Puerto Galera?The route of the private car is pretty much the same as taking a bus and ferry. However, you will have to leave your vehicle at the Batangas Pier and ride a ferry. You can also load it on a Roll-On Roll-Off vessel (RoRo) if you want to take your car with you to Puerto Galera.
How much is the parking fee at Batangas Pier?Parking fee at Berberabe port: Php 150.00 per car per day. Terminal fee/Entrance fee is Php 130.00 per head. Upon arrival in Batangas port/pier, go to Terminal 3 and find the ticket booth of ferry/roro going to Puerto Galera. *Puerto Galera has two points of entry, namely: Balatero port and Muelle Port.
