STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACEGfunk79 , COUPLES Sep 20, 2021 We arrived at the site and realized it’s in the ghetto. It’s a total crack motel. The owner approached us while we were debating if we’d even get out of the car. He was less than friendly and was VERY distracted during our conversation, keeping an eye on all the activities of the crazy crackheads on the property. After expressing our concerns to the owner he said “you can chose to do business with us or not”. We didn’t end up even leaving the car and split. He STILL charged my card $106. I emailed and asked for a refund, it’s been a week and no response. I also appealed it through booking.com and they said it’s between me & the owner. As of today, more than a week later, nothing. I am effing pissed. Don’t waste your money or time on this s*** hole. Go to the holiday inn a few miles away. Just Don't!!!!!valleygolf55 , COUPLES Jul 22, 2021 The lobby is small, and not clean. There were people just walking in off the street and butting in line to ask questions. The front desk attendant, could not speak English. There are rooms with heavy doors and bars on the windows where people live permanently. If I could have found another hotel room, I would have. Believe me, I tried!!! The outside appearance of the rooms is not good, but when you get inside the room it's even worse. It's just not clean. It's also dark and depressing. Also, there were people outside our window and near our vehicle all hours of the night arguing and screaming. I did not sleep one wink. So much for trying to save a little money. It was perfect for my stay, the only thing that I did not like was the cleanliness of the overall place itself. Bugs in the room (flies), broken bathroom mirrors, smelly rooms even after cleaning, etc. for the price I wasn’t expecting anything crazy so I can’t really complain all to much just need to do some more cleaning up over there and they’ll be good to go. The pictures on the website look like the hotel; however, the furniture and premises were very, very old & outdated—the curtain had holes in them. The walls were dirty. Something was sticking out on one side of the bed, which presented a hazard. The telephone had no directory. The couch was dirty, severely stained & the room was reeked of smoke and urine. Older Hotel - Seems somewhat UpdatedCharlotte L , FAMILY Jan 07, 2020 I’ve stayed in a wide range of hotels in my lifetime and don’t consider myself very picky when it comes to having a place to sleep for the night. I don’t mind if a place is old and outdated looking as long as I can tell it’s kept clean and I feel safe. Most of the furniture and bathroom fixtures seemed to be updated (the tub was nice) but in our second room the recliner had water stains and was very faded. There were cigarette burns in the bedding in the first room. The walls were also very thin and we could hear every thing around us - which made it very hard to go to sleep. I’m definitely not a big fan of the doors on the outside, so if that’s a source of discomfort this is not the place for you. It’s tolerable if you’re desperate for the night, but definitely would not recommend or stay in again. |
