With the debut of the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models earlier this year, the famed off-road SUV brand is hoping to expand their reach. More specifically, Jeep hopes that the luxurious new SUVs will anchor a new sub-brand, through which they can peddle larger, more premium vehicles. Based on the level of equipment on offer from both Wagoneer models, it appears that the automaker is off to a great start. After months of waiting, Jeep has finally posted the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer configurator tools to their website. Here is what you need to know about the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer configurator, as well as some of the package highlights and pricing information.

A Limited Configurator

When the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer debuted, the automaker unveiled 12 pre-configured models available for reservation. This setup was not exactly the easiest thing for customers to understand, so it’s nice to finally be able to get a look at the actual configurator tool. Customers now have the opportunity to spec out the Jeep Wagoneer Series II and Series III models, with the entry-level Series I model slated to come online later down the road. There are more options for those interested in the Grand Wagoneer, as the Series I, Series II, Obsidian, and Series III models are all listed on the configurator at this time.

Jeep Wagoneer: Build And Price

Pricing for the Jeep Wagoneer Series II will start at $68,590, while stepping up the the Series III brings the base price up to $73,590. If you want to add 4×4 to either model, you’ll need to spend an additional $3,000. There are five exterior paint colors for both trim levels, as well as two Nappa leather interior colors. It is worth noting that more paint colors are slated to be added later on, including River Rock Blue, Midnight Sky Blue, Rocky Mountain Green, and Ember Red. Both models share the same two wheel options, measuring 20-inches and 22-inches respectively. A Front Passenger Interactive Display is also shared between the two models, which costs just $1,195.

As similar as the Jeep Wagoneer Series II and Series III may seem thus far, things get much different in terms of the package prices. Take the Heavy-Duty Trailer-Tow Package for example, which only costs $995 on Series II, but totals $1,495 on Series III. The disparity continues with the Premium Group, as the Series III’s package includes some additional equipment. More specifically, the $5,495 package includes the 19-speaker McIntosh stereo system on Series III, which isn’t part of the Series II’s $2,995 package.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer: Build And Price

Jeep Grand Wagoneer pricing starts at $87,590 for Series I, $94,590 for Series II, $99,590 for Obsidian, and $103,995 for Series III. All four trim levels come as standard with 4×4, which should be expected for a vehicle at this price point. The Series I, Series II and Series III models are available with four two-tone exterior colors, as well as a single black monotone option. Obsidian is available with three two-tone options, and the same monotone black as the other trims.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series I models ride on standard 20-inch wheels, while the rest of the lineup packs 22-inch units as standard. Obsidian buyers don’t have any wheel options, while the remaining models have two wheel options to choose from. The Series I model comes with two leather interior options, while Series II and Series III customers have three colors to choose from. Obsidian buyers don’t get to choose their interior color, as black is the sole option.

The package situation for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer lineup is similar to the lower Wagoneer, albeit a bit different. The Heavy-Duty Trailer-Tow Package will run Series I customers $1,295, while the remaining lineup only requires $995 for the package. The Convenience Group runs for $3,995 Series I, Series II, and Obsidian models, while that equipment is standard on Series III. In fact, the Series III model only really has one other cost-option in the package department, which is the $1,995 Rear Seat Entertainment Group shared between all four models.

Fully Loaded

Based on the configurator tool, the most expensive Jeep Wagoneer model on offer will ring in at $89,120 before taxes and delivery fees. A fully-loaded Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series III on the other hand carries an MSRP of $111,930, which is a premium price indeed.
